Our Adoption Process
We strive to make the Dachshund Puppy Adoption journey as smooth and joyful as possible. Here is how to bring your Dachshund puppy home:
Puppy Enquiry
Browse our available puppies and reach out to us to express your interest in a specific litter or upcoming litter.
Application
Fill out a short questionnaire. This helps us ensure our puppies are going to safe, loving, and suitable homes.
Selection & Reservation
Once approved, you select your puppy. To secure your choice, a deposit payment is required to officially reserve them.
Preparation
We provide updates as your puppy grows. You prepare your home, and we finalize the adoption agreement and care plans.
Puppy Reservations & Deposit Payments
To ensure fairness and commitment, clients are required to make a reservation for their chosen puppy. Once you have selected your Dachshund, a deposit payment of 40% of the actual purchase price of the puppy is required to secure them.
This non-refundable deposit takes the puppy off our available list and reserves them exclusively for you. The remaining balance is then due prior to the puppy going home or being delivered at 8 weeks of age. This process secures your adoption and allows us to begin the final preparations for your puppy’s transition.
Payment Summary
Reserve your puppy with a 40% deposit today. The remaining 60% balance is due before pickup or delivery.
Adoption, Purchase, and Rehoming
When you proceed with Dachshund Puppy Adoption from TK-Dachshund Puppies, you are not just purchasing a dog; you are making a lifelong commitment to a living family member. The purchase of your puppy includes their health guarantee, vaccinations, microchipping, and registration.
We take rehoming very seriously. Our rehoming policy is designed to protect our dogs for their entire lives. If, for any reason, at any point in the dog’s life, you can no longer care for them, we require that the dog be returned to TK-Dachshund Puppies. We will never allow one of our puppies to end up in a shelter or rescue. We are always here to support you, and we will gladly welcome them back into our home until a new forever family can be found.

Once your puppy is ready to go home at 8 weeks, we offer two convenient options to unite you with your new best friend:
Door-to-Step Delivery
We use the best pet delivery services to safely ship your puppy directly to your doorstep. Whether you are across the state or across the country, we arrange safe, pet-friendly transport to ensure your Dachshund arrives happy, healthy, and stress-free.
In-Person Pickup
Clients are welcome to pick up their new puppy at our location. We love meeting our puppy families in person! We will schedule a convenient time for you to come, finalize the paperwork, and take your puppy home safely in your arms.
